I have been exposed to Chiropractic ever since I was a small child. I had a nasty curve of the spine (a scoliosis) which was suggested be repaired through surgery. We really didn’t want to go down that route, so I went along to Dad’s Chiropractor. Needless to say, I didn’t have surgery and have loved the regular visits to my Chiro ever since!
I have been a rugby league referee for many years. In 2004 I was selected to join the NSW Rugby League Premier Referee’s squad. My highlights were Grand Finals in 2006 and 2007 Jim Beam Cup (effectively 2nd division State Cup) and State of Origin Residents (NSW v QLD) as the lead up game to Origin 3 in Melbourne, 2006.
I was a computer analyst before joining the Police (firstly in NT, then in NSW). In the Police, I was a crash investigator, which had its moments! When it came time to change career, Chiropractic was by far and away my first choice, despite how long I had to be at Uni to get qualified.
Chiropractic just makes sense for me. I love dealing with people and seeing how we all interact. We are all remarkably adaptable! Our bodies have an amazing ability to adapt and adjust to whatever gets thrown at us. With the gentle, drug-free help of Chiropractic, I have personally seen how much better we can function. Better able to deal with the stresses of life. Better able to recover from injuries, or indeed, stay injury free. Better able to function as we know we can. I now look forward to providing this same help to my valuable clients.
